The Rifle Length Buffer is designed for Rifle Length Extensions (RPX) as an easy and inexpensive way to lengthen the buffer assembly for the rifle. It uses a Carbine length extension as a base to shorten the buffer tube and reduce the distance the rifle recoil mechanism travels. When installed, the buffer attaches permanently to the end of the barrel in the locked position. This drop-in installation involves removing the end cap and extending the bolt to the desired length.
