The V Seven HEAVY STEEL BLUE NITRIDE AR15 Buffer Tube is made from Black Nitride 416SS which is a superior alloy allowing V Seven to offer some of the toughest AR tubes on the planet. Due to the complex metallurgy involved V Seven tries to make things as simple and bomb proof as possible. However, a simple nitride finish can eliminate the corrosive effects of some alloys. If you're building an AR based rifle, you better hope its built with V Seven HEAVY STEEL BOLT because it is.
