Luth-AR's mil-spec carbine buffer assembly is a complete recoil system for AR-10 / .308 builds. The kit includes a 6061-T6 aluminum carbine buffer tube in black hardcoat anodizing, a .308 buffer spring, a 3.8 oz buffer, a latch plate and a lock ring. Converting a rifle-length gas system to a carbine buffer system may cause reliability issues.
