The Forward Controls Design ABC/R 7.62 is an augmented bolt catch for 7.62mm, LR-308 pattern AR rifles, here in the dimpled version. It brings the ABC/R version 3 design to the 7.62mm platform, leaving off some 5.56mm v3 features that would cause compatibility problems on 7.62mm ARs.

  • Augmented bolt catch for 7.62mm, LR-308 pattern ARs
  • Dimpled version (listed as "AA")
  • Ledge on top of the upper paddle and on the bottom of the lower paddle for traction
  • Angled, tapered upper paddle
  • Some 5.56mm ABC/R v3 features left off because 7.62mm ARs are not standardized
