The Switchblock barrel is designed for carbine style gas systems and can be used with both carbine and pistol gas setups. Reducing weight by switching the gas block from carbine to pistol gas is a key advantage. The Switchblock barrel allows a lighter rifle that still performs well with a carbine gas system. It features a chrome-lined gas port to reduce internal wear and a chrome-lined bore for easier cleaning.
