8.3 inch 9mm AR-15 pencil barrel designed for blowback 9mm builds. This barrel is machined from 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium steel with a QPQ corrosion resistant finish and features 1/2-28 x .400 full profile threads. Designed to work with Colt/RR and Glock style AR builds. Compatible with standard mil-spec uppers and numerous dedicated 9mm upper options. Requires a magwell conversion for UZI mags or a dedicated 9mm lower with Glock mags. 9mm on an AR-15 platform operates by blowback and does not require a gas block or gas tube. Threads are 1/2x28 for compatibility with a wide range of muzzle devices. Integrated feed ramp and barrel extension. The stated length is the true overall length due to the barrel extension being integral. Enhanced feed ramp. A standard 1/2x28 flash hider may require a larger clearance for the 9mm round.
