The Faxon Duty Series Gunner barrel for the 308 Winchester is manufactured in-house from 4150 CMV steel and finished with QPQ nitride coating for added durability.
- MPI (magnetic particle inspected) for surface and sub-surface integrity
- Air-gauge tested for accuracy
- Button rifled
- Medium-taper behind the gas block
- Gas block journal set to 0.750" for compatibility with most common gas blocks
- Thinner taper from the gas block forward to reduce weight while maintaining rigidity
- Designed for competition, law enforcement, and military applications; also suitable as a suppressor host
