FN AR15 CHF barrels are hammer forged using proprietary high-grade Chrome Moly Vanadium steel. After forging, each barrel is magnetic particle tested to ensure it is free of microstresses or flaws.
The bore and chamber are chrome lined to help resist corrosion and provide resistance to heat erosion for improved barrel life and reliable chambering/extraction. M4 style feed ramps and the barrel extension provide consistent feeding.
Finish: matte black manganese phosphate.
