Brownells AR-15 M16A1 Retro Barrel Assemblies are chrome-lined AR-15 barrels patterned after the original M16A1 profile. This barrel is chambered in 5.56x45 NATO and features a chrome-lined bore with 1/2-28 muzzle threads. The Retro AR-15 M16A1 barrel is machined from 4150 chrome moly steel and finished in black phosphate. The 20 inch version is the standard length in many Retro builds and is available alongside other lengths. Each Retro barrel assembly typically includes the front sight base, sight post, detent, spring, sling swivel, Delta ring, barrel nut, weld spring, snap ring, and round handguard cap installed or as part of the assembled package depending on variant.
