Product Description The FN AR-15 premium button-rifled barrel is built for reliable performance and long service life. Manufactured from U.S.-sourced Chrome Moly Vanadium steel (per Mil-B-11595E), each barrel is High Pressure Tested (HPT) and Magnetic Particle Inspected (MPI) to help ensure it is free of microstresses or flaws. A chrome-lined bore and chamber improve corrosion resistance and help reduce heat erosion for extended barrel life and consistent chambering/extraction. M4-style feed ramps and a matching barrel extension promote dependable feeding, while a matte black manganese phosphate finish helps resist external corrosion and oxidation.
