Product Description The Faxon Firearms Match Series Gunner barrel blends the durability of a Government profile with the weight savings and handling of a Pencil profile to create a balanced, fatigue-reducing barrel for training, hunting, and duty-style use. Built in-house from 416R stainless steel with 5R rifling, it is chambered in .223 Wylde to enhance accuracy while maintaining compatibility with both .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO ammunition. A salt bath nitride treatment protects the bore and exterior for extended barrel life and corrosion resistance, while the Nickel Teflon–coated M4 barrel extension helps promote a precise fit and smooth function. Each barrel is individually MPI tested for added confidence.
