The Sierra Bullets 1370 Varminter bullets are engineered for quick expansion for varmints and small game. These bullets feature thin jackets to enhance expansion while maintaining the strength required to be fired at peak muzzle velocities for their intended cartridges. Shapes range from hollow point (HP) to spitzer pointed flat base (SPT) and semi-pointed (SMP). Blitz bullets are designed for medium velocity under 3600 fps. Hornet bullets expand reliably in the 2500 to 2800 fps range and can be loaded into cartridges capable of achieving muzzle velocities up to 3500 fps. When propelled at 223 Remington velocities, the Hornet converts into a Blitz style Varminter.
