Sinclair chamber plug for 22-250 Remington.

Designed to seal the chamber and bore, helping prevent solvents and oils from running back into the action when the rifle is left upright.

For heavily fouled barrels, the process is:

  • Seal the chamber with the plug
  • Fill the barrel with your preferred solvent
  • Let the barrel sit for a period of time

If left overnight, seal the muzzle end with tape to prevent evaporation, and fill the barrel all the way to the muzzle end. For longer storage, use the plugs and continue protecting the barrel end from evaporation.
