BROWNELLS - ALUMA-HYDE® II

Aluma-Hyde II is formulated with a hard-curing epoxy base for a durable finish that resists bore cleaners, solvents, and other cleaning chemicals (including trichloroethylene).

Clean Out Nozzle

Each can includes a Clean Out Nozzle to be used before each use to prevent clogs in the nozzle and pickup tube.

Prep & application (summary)

• No priming required on clean, bare metal or anodized surfaces
• Surface should be dry and free of oil, wax, dirt, loose paint, and other contaminants
• Shake vigorously until the ball rattles, then shake an additional 2 minutes
• Hold the can about 12 in away and fully depress the valve to spray
• Dries to light touch in about 10–15 minutes
• Allow 10–14 days for full cure before recoating
• If a second coat is needed, it should be applied within 30 minutes
• Cure can be speeded by circulating warm air (up to 90°F max.) or placing in direct sunlight; “speed cure” via baking at 195°F for 3.5 hours
