Manufacturing / material highlights

  • Begins with full-profile, match-grade 416R stainless steel barrel blanks
  • Blanks are turned down to a reduced contour to reduce weight
  • Reduced-contour barrel is wrapped with high-strength, aerospace-grade carbon fiber impregnated with a proprietary matrix resin (PROOF Research ACD)
  • Carbon fiber diffuses and transports heat to help the barrel cool faster, maintain accuracy over longer sessions, and live longer
