What is KG PRODUCTS K-PHOS PRE-TREATMENT?

Advanced phosphate liquid that replaces hot tank phosphating to provide protection against rust and corrosion, and creates a superior crystalline bonding surface for Brownells GUN-KOTE finishes.

Key features

• Chemically etches and instantly seals the metal surface to prevent rust prior to painting
• Recommended for use with GUN-KOTE on alloy steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and nickel/chrome plating
• Easy application: brush on, dip the parts, or spray (air brush); does not require thinning
• Dries in 10 to 15 minutes
• Meets MIL-C-490A and TT-C-490 specifications

Surface preparation

• Surfaces must be completely degreased using Brownells TCE or KG3 Solvent Degreaser
• Machined surfaces can be abrasive blasted for maximum adhesion
